There are a ton of ways to generate leads online and your business can do great by taking on just one or two of these methods. 2020 has put much pressure on many businesses. We have to adjust and adapt as business owners or our business will suffer because of incorrect marketing strategies.
As an internet consultant, I have witnessed quite a few businesses suffer financially by not having the proper marketing strategy and lead generation strategy in place. I have mostly witnessed this within the real estate industry but I have also seen it in many other industries as well.
Digital marketing and having a digital presence is more important than ever before with the way we have to conduct business currently.
Many of us are in hopes that things will “get back to normal,” but while things are getting back to normal, it doesn’t serve us as business owners to wait around and do nothing.
We must focus on bringing in revenue and one way we do that is by bringing in more prospects and generating more leads.
We can do this using online lead generation strategies and tactics like Facebook, YouTube, Google, etc., or offline methods, such as door-knocking, direct mail, cold calling.
Personally, I am always going to recommend online leads because they’re a lot cheaper and easier to track. And about 98% of business owners can benefit from online lead generation and digital marketing strategies.
Consider yourself and how you utilize the internet. When looking to solve a problem, one of the first things we do is ask the internet. We check Google, type in our problem, and look for the best solution to our problem.
Well, your customers are very similar. They too are people with problems and they take to the internet to have these problems resolved with an internet search such as Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc.

But it does us no good if people do not know about your business or service. This is why it’s important to generate leads and always be marketing your product, business or service.
Through experience and through some of my greatest mentors, I have learned that the most common issue for most businesses and services is their lead funnel AKA marketing strategy.
Many business owners will mistakenly pull back on their marketing funnels and marketing budget causing them to lose out on leads.
- No leads = No prospects
- No prospects = No one considering your product/service
- No one considering your product/service = No sales conversion
- No leads = no prospects = no deals, no sales.
No matter what phase of business you are in. Work so you NEVER have to shut down your marketing. Keep the pipeline full.

- Advocacy is when your cusomter advocate and promote your product/brand.
Each phase is important in its own way and will require time and attention.
This can seem overwhelming for a business owner but it’s very possible to learn with the right time and dedication.
Although I wouldn’t recommend a new business owner trying to learn everything before starting to sell online, I would recommend talking with a marketing consultant (schedule a call below), or business coach so you aren’t navigating the digital spaces alone.

There are lead generation companies available online and these companies specialize in generating leads for you and your business. These companies in many cases are worth the investment, but they can be pretty expensive for someone that is new and unfamiliar with the importance of lead generation. That being said, if you do have an education in an understanding of marketing, I would recommend that you partner up with one of these companies.
if this is not the case, I'm going to suggest that you do it yourself. and by doing it yourself you can take one of many ways.

There are several reasons why. Facebook Lead Ads are a great platform to generate leads for business owners and entrepreneurs. I will list a few below.

Most people are familiar with the Facebook book platform. Facebook has over 2.8 billion active users on its platform. If you are reading this, yes you are most likely familiar and have heard of Facebook.
Facebook is easy.
It is easy for you to create the assets necessary to establish your brand, product, or service on Facebook.
Facebook is safe.
Facebook has a process and protects consumers from shady businesses. If you stay within the Facebook platform, you won’t have to worry about dealing with unfamiliar 3rd parties to establish your business brand or product. You will deal directly with Facebook.
Facebook has a Marketplace.
Facebook has a marketplace that it allows you to sell your service or product on and you can even start without spending any money. It’s highly advised that you follow the necessary steps to establish your business/brand on Facebook correctly. But this marketplace is so effective it may not be a necessity when first starting out.
Facebook will be around for a long time.
Now that’s a bold claim since the internet changes so fast and rapidly, but my experience and research prove to me that Facebook will not be going away anytime soon, despite how many competitors that pop up. Facebook has a ton of data, advertising partners, etc.
Many businesses pay Facebook to effectively utilize the platform and will continue to do so because it’s effective. Myself included.

Facebook marketing and advertising can be the most cost-effective way for you to generate leads, convert sales, and complete multiple, repeated successful business transactions.
